Apple adds more spice to iPod Touch line

Apple iPod Touch is considered by many as an Apple device that looks and acts like an iPhone, only that it cannot be used to make calls.

The device plays movies, music, and can be also used to play games. The iPod Touch is available for sale in the market and now the company has given it a very attractive and colorful upgrade.

The iPod Touch line will now come in six different colors: pink, yellow, blue, silver, space gray, and red. The device is also offered in three capacities: 16 GB ($199), 32 GB ($249) and 64 GB ($299). All three variations are equipped with a 5 megapixel iSight camera, a 4-inch Retina display, and the latest iOS 7 platform.

Apple has said that the presence of App Store on iPod touch, users in 155 countries have access to over 1.2 million apps for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, including hundreds of thousands of games.

Customers also get the iTunes Store at their fingertips and it gives instant access to an incredible selection of music, TV shows, movies and books to purchase and download directly to their iPod touch.

The iPod Touch screen has an 1136 x 640 resolution (326 ppi), a fingerprint-resistant olephobic coating, and a max brightness of 500 cd/m2.

Additional features include dual-band Wireless N and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, a built-in rechargeable battery, an accelerometer and three-axis gyro and the new "lightning" connector of the company.
